Hubs Network Fund for Commons Residencies

We connect physical spaces and (tech) talent for local, mission-driven residencies at Hubs in the PULSIN Network..

Independent physical spaces, ecovillages, hacker spaces, community hubs, generate enormous value that mostly goes unfunded and uncounted. This fund resources the Hubs & Pilgrims model: hubs turn real local challenges into scoped residency projects with clear objectives, and traveling pilgrims with the right skills come to execute them, hosted and fed by the space they serve. Instead of vague volunteering, every residency is a defined project with measurable goals and documented outcomes, making the invisible value of the commons tangible while demonstrating another way of living and working together.

Eligibility

To qualify for this fund, projects must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- The project must be curated and registered as an active residency on app.hubsnetwork.org, with a clear scope, actionable objectives, and measurable goals (no vague calls for general volunteers).
- The host space must be a PULSIN Network member, a signatory of the network manifesto, and on app.hubsnetwork.org as a Hub.
- Both host and pilgrim must commit to documenting outcomes and sharing them back to the network (wiki, newsletter, community calls).
