The Next Play Fund supports projects that help student-athletes transition from the playing field to their next chapter as founders, innovators, and community leaders. Whether you're building a startup, launching a creative venture, or designing tools that support athlete well-being and success beyond sports, this fund exists to back your vision. We’re here for the builders helping student-athletes play—and win—the long game.

Eligibility

This fund is for projects and businesses that empower student-athletes to thrive in life after college sports. We support ventures led by current or former athletes, as well as initiatives designed to support their holistic development.
To qualify for this fund, projects must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Be led by a student-athlete or directly benefit student-athletes transitioning beyond college.
- Aim to build skills, careers, or ventures beyond athletics (e.g., tech, media, education, wellness, entrepreneurship).
- May include startups, educational programs, platforms, content, or creative initiatives.
- Must demonstrate originality, feasibility, and potential for lasting impact.
