Nouns Builder Fund for Onchain Communities

Supporting builders who strengthen the infrastructure, tools, and experiments that help onchain communities launch, govern, and grow with Nouns Builder.

The Nouns Builder Fund for Onchain Communities supports projects that expand the utility, sustainability, and creative potential of the Nouns Builder ecosystem. We’re looking for builders developing tools, integrations, governance improvements, auction innovations, and other public infrastructure that help communities coordinate onchain more effectively and grow with greater flexibility, participation, and resilience.

Eligibility

This fund is for projects that actively build with or contribute back to the Nouns Builder ecosystem. Priority will go to practical work that responds to real community needs, improves the protocol or surrounding tooling, and creates shared value for communities using Nouns Builder to experiment, organize, and operate onchain.
To qualify for this fund, projects must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Build on, integrate with, or directly extend the Nouns Builder Protocol or the nouns.build ecosystem.
- Deliver clear value to onchain communities through improved utility, configurability, participation, sustainability, or long-term support.
- Be intended for real use by Builder communities, rather than purely speculative, promotional, or conceptual work.
- Include a concrete contribution such as a protocol upgrade, tooling improvement, integration, governance primitive, delegation enhancement, auction feature, or other infrastructure advancement.
- Demonstrate technical feasibility and a credible path to implementation.
- Be relevant to the needs of communities already using Nouns Builder, or to new communities with a clear intention to build on the protocol.
- Be capable of being reviewed, tested, and adopted within the Nouns Builder ecosystem.
- Open-source contributions and work that can benefit multiple communities in the ecosystem are strongly encouraged.
