About
The Forest That Breathes Us is an immersive dome-based cinematic environment that transports participants to a place they’ve never been before. It’s a place of unfathomable beauty, power and birth as well as death, terror and destruction. It’s a place that can’t be fully named, described or experienced and will likely never be fully understood.
Impact
Indigenous culture and cosmologies, Buddhist and many other wisdom traditions recognize our place in the universe as inescapably entwined with all other beings and all other things. The Forest That Breathes Us contributes to the dominant culture’s shifting understanding. We will contribute to a larger cultural shift that inspires respect for all life as well as radical acts of transformation and solidarity with the more-than-human world.

Funding
No displayed figures preserved for this project.
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
