About

A series of volumetric interviews displays how the ancient local belief system provides a rich cultural framework helping individuals and society to comprehend and embrace the phenomenon of schizophrenia where the western science is still immature to assist.

Impact

This project aims to build empathy towards people experiencing schizophrenia. Western society perceives the world through the lens of science. Psychology is still quite undeveloped as a science, keeping schizophrenia stigmatized in the west. By emerging viewers into conversations with people from Indonesia who experience seeing spirits we help to understand how Southeast Asian culture embraces these situations. What western society can learn from it to build more tolerable neurodiversity.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
