About

Drone Cadets LLC is a New York State-based company and a member of Aerial Systems Group International (ASGI), which is a consortium of black-owned drone companies, offering S.T.E.M curriculum with drones to help underprivileged and underserved students enter the aviation industry. We target school systems, non-profit organizations, and government agencies across the continental US and abroad to help us accomplish our mission. As things currently stand, the aviation industry lacks diversity, and the drone companies in that sub-sector are in dire need of qualified and experienced pilots to employ for their operations. Drone Cadets aims to bridge the gap by exposing children as young as 8 years old to drone technology and being the first step in the ASGI Career Pathway Pipeline (ASGICPP), which partners with drone companies to supply them with students who graduate from our programs for internships and employment. We need your help to expand our staff and directors in order to continue our mission.

Impact

Because of the lack of diversity in the aviation industry, competent and experienced pilots are in great demand by the drone businesses operating in that area. Drone Cadets aims to close the gap by introducing drone technology to everyone, starting as young as 8 years old, and serving as the first step in the ASGI Career Pathway Pipeline, which aids in helping those individuals find employment in the sector or launch their own businesses to boost local economies.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
