a immersive happening that asks us what remains of our “gardens” when left unattended
community-economyeducation
“the other gardeners” transports participants into the long forgotten Garden of Eden and allows us to explore what remains there. Throughout the experience participants are confronted both by their own “gardens” they left abandoned and the consequences they’ve subsequently left on others, while also grappling with the ways they’ve shouldered the burden of upkeep for another’s growth. “gardeners” reflects back at us the current-ness of our pasts and puts us in practice for our futures.
This project teaches communities actionable practices for emotional self-regulation, communication, and sustainable community engagement. Through this project we teach participants both how to take care of themselves and how to teach others the same.

No displayed figures preserved for this project.
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
