About

Experimental laboratory that uses virtual reality to explore the experiences of migration. It aims to transcend traditional forms of storytelling and analysis, and instead focuses on the senses as a way of communicating, questioning, and connecting with others. We seek to approach 5 Latin American trans women migration stories who live in Paris, through embodied experience of transit, of being a border, changing and volatile, of dealing with the pain of being in Sexile.

Impact

Create a space that allows for awareness of the violence that affects trans lives. Using art as a means of repair and activism. Build a transvestite archive and memory for future generations. Bring immersive tech to historically excluded populations.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
