THE SPEED OF THE DISTANCE BETWEEN US

About

10 parents who lost a child(or 2) during army service invite us to their homes for a conversation about what can't be explained. In Israel, due to mandatory service and endless conflict, bereavement doesn't discriminate between gender, race, or socioeconomic status. An intimate look into grief reveals that every Israeli is potentially a bereaved parent, and every bereaved parent expresses with horrifying intensity the existential anxieties we all face: loss of meaning, a present denied of future

Impact

This project is created with the bereaved parents who want to share their stories to reach out to other bereaved parents who need support, destigmatize how society perceives them, and share their own and their children's stories as individuals.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
