About

UnlockGenBETA is a digital deck of 225 cards (that can also be compiled as a canvas) describing Generation BETA (2026-2040.) Currently, it is impossible to determine with certainty what the characteristics of the generation following Generation Alpha (2010-2025) will be, as it has yet to be born, and social and cultural developments may change rapidly. However, with the textual help and support of ChatGPT-3, the project will try to describe, speculate on, and influence humans of the future.

Impact

Emerging technologies are exponentially changing our culture, society, and environment, increasingly robbing us of our humanness. What if we start to reflect, reason and imagine a distant but not-too-distant promising future without slowing progress?

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
