BEHIND THE MOVEMENT

About

Ever since losing my job due to Covid-19, I have been documenting social injustice around the country. Having visited over 20+ states and dozens of cities amid two pandemics: Covid-19 & the genocide of black people at the hands of the police. I still manage to have faith in the workplace. As a documentary filmmaker and activist, I focused my efforts on telling the correct narrative about the issues and events I filmed in: Oakland, Seattle, Philly, NYC, Gastonia, Minneapolis, Elizabeth City. etc

Impact

One thing that this movement has given me is a platform. I use my platform as an activist to amplify the voices and stories of marginalized communities and to push for systemic change. Yes, im PRO-black ! So I advocate for black liberation first

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
