About

This summer, I intend to take two solo hiking trips to Egypt and Iceland in order to write deeply personal essays that explore how I move between nature-induced euphoria and eco-grief in the face of an unfolding climate crisis. I’ll also examine local climate change issues and connect them to global climate justice movements including in my home country of Canada. I am in currently in the pitch process with an editor from the nature-focused Canadian magazine BESIDE, where I've published before.

Impact

With impactful, restorative storytelling, these essays will encourage others to deepen their relationship, intimacy, and love of the natural world in order to be moved to protect it while also bringing deeper awareness to global climate change issues

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
