A horror comedy short film and interactive screening tour for housing and social justice activists to blow off steam.
womenfilm-storytellingmusic-performance
Affordable Housing is the story of two women who fight a monster from outer space to keep their cheap apartment.
Our screening tour consists of partner organizations that work in: social justice, housing access, and DEI in the media. Our events will include interactive games, and dance parties, as well as facilitated discussions, that celebrate resilience.
Our team includes: director Eunice Levis (Oscar qualifying), producer Okema Moore (Emmy nominated), and actor Elvis Nolasco (Godfather of Harlem, Epix). Support includes: the Leeway Foundation, Scribe Video, and Independence Public Media Foundation.
I am an Afrolatina horror/sci-fi writer and producer. I use horror stories to bring folks in so we can hold hands in the dark and face the monsters together.
No displayed figures preserved for this project.
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
