About

An ongoing installation first commissioned by KW Institute of Contemporary Art in Berlin and The Whitney Museum of American Art that is now being re-staged to tour globally with a host of conferences to bring awareness and education around technology

Impact

This project is born of research on brain-to-machine interfaces and the increasingly complex relationship between technology and the body. It will bring further insight and understanding around human autonomy and the black boxes that we depend on.

Progress

The project is presently installed at The Whitney Museum in New York, NY and was first mounted at KW Institute of Contemporary Art with the Tieranatomisches’ Theater at Humboldt University, Berlin in September of 2022.

Team

Rachel Rossin is an internationally renowned artist and computer programmer who has been working professionally for over ten years. She is held and has shown in prestigious permanent collections around the world.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
