I'm developing an extended-reality enhanced SGL/Queer, post-apocalyptic, Afro-futurist, musical theater experience titled The Last Gatekeeper.

Impact

The Last Gatekeeper will push creative boundaries while exposing the racial, economic, social, and spiritual oppression that has caused soul-crushing shame and psychological trauma for the SGL/Queer community.

Progress

The Last Gatekeeper has a strong creative team and is in conversation with three Broadway producers. It has had three developmental residencies in NYC since 2018 and received several grants including Artizen’s Black Realities grant.

Team

I'm an African American, Queer, playwright, composer, and ordained minister interested in African spirituality. I bring a unique voice that adds depth and complexity to this project and the African American experience being told on stage.
