A virtual and physical fusion of contemporary art that highlights queer experiences
queerarts-media
I am bringing together six multi-media artists who use their art practices to explore their experiences as queer people. Their work will be imported (or scanned if 3D) into our virtual reality art gallery: The Contemporary Hub.
Queer rights are currently under attack through various legislations, and a show such as this will demonstrate the worth and reality of Queer lives. This show will create impact for Queer people of all ages and experiences around the world.
Our call for submissions is going out this week and our team will select the 6 final artists. We have already started building the framework of the virtual gallery and have secured the venue for an in-person launch party for the new virtual exhibit.
I have years of curatorial and queer art experiences under my belt, along with the wide success of our two previous iterations of this exhibition. Our previous Queer exhibits have been published in art magazines and used for curatorial research.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
