About

A short film that mixes immigration with magic realism.

Impact

I hope to bring awareness to the impact immigration process has on people's lives and contribute to voices clamouring for immigration reform.

Progress

I secured $30k in funding for the production and assembled an exceptional team of industry professionals, ranging from cinematography to post-production. With a completed screenplay and a finalised visual treatment we are ready to shoot!

Team

I am an award winning filmmaker with 15 years of experience that has also spent his adult life as an immigrant dealing with this subject matter.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
