About

I’m creating a series of portraits of CG characters. These characters are created, ‘cast’, posed, and ‘shot’ on the computer using a range of technologies. The differing personalities, question what it means to be human and fluid in a digital space

Impact

The project explores queer and gender identities that are rarely (if ever) displayed and explored in the virtual space. Reclaims the femme bodies that are fetishised through video games, and showcases fluidity and genderlessness

Progress

I have received recognition for previous works, displayed in various museums and have been nominated for prizes for these pieces. I will undertake a residency this summer in London too

Team

I would be making this work even without a grant. I feel a deep and integral desire and need to create these pieces. The CGI industry is a white cis male dominated industry and I want it to change.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
