About

I'm making an immersive live music experience by translating an album-film into a VR sequence where I can one day sing live onstage and in VR at the same time.

Impact

This project by a trans immigrant artist shines a bold, imaginative light on marginalized stories, illuminating the unseen with striking visuals and a transformative message that empowers and inspires the marginalized.

Progress

PHOTOPHOBIA debuted as an immersive exhibition at Kampnagel, I'm nominated for vocalist of the year with German Jazz Price and PHOTOPHOBIA audiovisual is currently showing at the Lift Off Fest.

Team

I have the lived experience to have composed, performed and directed this project about breaking free of Eurocentric patterns and knowledge hierarchization as a trans Afro-Latina immigrant: myself.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
