VR experience that investigates the role of nightmares in our daily existence, psychology and different cultures/myths.
education
I'm making a 3-chapter VR narrative about nightmares, based on C. Jung's research. The goal is not to scare the viewer, but to show the possibilities of symbolic interpretations+open a new perspective towards acceptance of uncomfortable experiences.
Tech is used together with a strong theoretical base and a compassionate, humanist perspective. Working with nightmares is a step to understand a better way to live in a society where we arent taught to connect and learn from our negative experiences
Starting phase of the project was supported by Immerse/Interact development grant organized by Nederlandse Filmfonds and Stimuleringsfonds. Prototype shown at 3 exhibitions. I worked with a sound designer and was mentored by N.Huitenga and A.Eslami.
My interest in psychology and past conceptual training. The artistic quality is the focal point: my visual style is characterized by precise attention to detail, textures, and eerie, mysterious mood when building magical worlds. Experience with VR.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
