An online immersive video and site-specific AR activation that changes in real time based on audience participation.

I’m making a global, participatory art project in immersive video and augmented reality focused on a bioengineered future creature that will be an experimental, living test for community-building and adaptability in the face of the climate crisis.
Cento invites global audiences to co-create a collaborative AR organism that morphs in real time based on their participation, and underscores both species interdependence and the necessary adaptive evolution required to survive the climate crisis.
I have received modest financial support from the Whitney Museum but need additional funding to realize this ambitious, groundbreaking project of community engagement. My AR dev team is onboard and will also handle the live coding required.
I have been working with site-activated, social impact AR since 2018, when I founded my free AR public art app, 4th Wall. My collaborators and I have installed hundreds of conceptually rigorous, site-specific AR interventions across the globe.
No displayed figures preserved for this project.
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
