About

I'm making a narrative film about love & HIV/AIDS in BIPOC communities.

Impact

Tackles HIV/AIDS in BIPOC communities, but from an uplifting, funny and inspiring lens. It entertains, educates, and empowers audiences around the virus.

Progress

Full script + Attached talent (Sherri Shepherd, Pauletta Washington & more) + Full Crew - Currently fundraising, but have strong commitments in place.

Team

I made an award-winning short film, 90 DAYS, that serves as a proof of concept. 90 DAYS screened around the world at over 40 top festivals & won numerous awards. It changed the conversation about HIV and I will do the same with LWSTD, but bigger.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
