A lonely office worker catfishes his toxic coworker in a desperate attempt to make friends.
arts-mediafilm-storytelling
A narrative short film that explores male homosocial relationships in Pakistani workplaces through a satirical lens. Pakistani men are often portrayed as violent, but few understand the deep affection amongst even the most 'toxically masculine'.
Art and freedom of information are under assault in Pakistan. This kind of story could never be funded without grassroots efforts. If even one story can be told, there is hope for countless others.
We completed production with our incredible team on March 28th, many of them visual artists from different fields. We are currently in post production, and expect to be done sooner than May 1st.
This project is an intersection of two struggles: office work and filmmaking. The workplace is an important space in Pakistan for people to forge friendships, make enemies and even find romantic partners. I've drawn from actual experiences.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
