Continuum VR explores the migration experiences of six Latin American transgender women living in Paris
latinwomenarts-mediascience-research
We are doing an experimental co-creation laboratory that uses arts to explore the experiences of migration to create a VR experience.
Provide awareness of the violence that affects trans lives. Use art as a means of repair and activism. Build a transvestite archive and memory for future generations. Bring immersive tech to historically excluded populations.
We have an amazing team mostly people from the trans community in Colombia and France. We had won grants recognition from IDFA festival and Sundance to record a 350 video pilot and Volumetric Video scenes.
We are a team from the Colombia Trans Communitarian Network association and a French trans association, ACEPTESS-T. Creator and participants are both from the community providing autorepresentation and inclusion.
No displayed figures preserved for this project.
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
