The story of a young girl flung into a wild and transformative journey of self-discovery and ecological awakening.
climate-ecologyfilm-storytelling
We're making an animated short film about a teenage girl who flees village life and encounters a mysterious creature that introduces her to an enchanting reality that will forever change her perception of life and guide her onto her future path.
The climate crisis is a crisis of relationships. The film aims to transform the viewer's relationship with the living world from one of extraction and dominance over into one of interconnection, mutual care, and reverence.
We have put together an amazing and complementary core team of directors and artists, finalized the script, created the first sketches and concept art pieces, applied for 5+ grants (awaiting feedback), created a realistic budget and timeline.
Our combined experience in film, animation, sound and graphic design, and finance, make us a complementary team with the needed skill set. We are well-connected to social and environmental networks, deeply motivated to bring this project to fruition!

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
