About

I’m making a 3D AR volumetric cooking video series demonstrating how to cook healthy plant-based meals, using the Navajo language with English subtitles, in a collage of fashion, animations and 8 bit sounds for an exhibited public video installation.

Impact

The Navajo Nation faces food-related health problems and community members want healthy food options. Through robust immersive media that revitalizes Navajo language & culture, the plant-based cooking show artistically addresses the need for health.

Progress

I’ve collected kawaii cooking ware, have made animations and overall branding materials for the show. I also acquired a sound engineer to help make kawaii 8 bit melodies for sound effects. I received funding from the Awesome Foundation Vegan Grant.

Team

I want to take my years of experience in AR & video production to make a change for my people. As an underserved community, I see my people’s want and need to be health conscious and to be involved in emerging technologies to revitalize our culture.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
