I am painting a series of women in different contexts. Accompanied will be a series of questions asking how we view the women, if our answers are implicitly biased and encouraging reflection on how it translates into our views of women at large.
Change requires awareness, and reflection heightens awareness. Through the medium of visual art, I encourage everyday people of all gender to reflect on how our thoughts and actions impact the lives of women and the way women view themselves.
I have painted a series of life models and their backs: https://twitter.com/0xCaryn/status/1616127934263365632/photo/1 and https://twitter.com/0xCaryn/status/1633483548605775872 I will use these as part of the exhibition.
Six years working on AI/data then moving to crypto, DAOs and Y-Combinator tech startups, I have seen how the patriarchy harms women. Combined with being a painter and thoughtful writer, I am uniquely positioned to create art that comments on this.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
