Khon - Holographic Dance Teleportation

Project details match catalog

About

We are making an Innovative Thai Khon Masked Dance hologram of Pichet Klunchun, the master of Thai Choreography, that is interactable by hands through Mixed Reality headset like Quest Pro (multiplayer) and Holographic Display.

Impact

Volumetric Capture for Dance can help maintain the sense of cultural immersion, while establishing a green economic model for performing arts in virtual spaces, eliminating the need to transport entire dance companies across the world.

Progress

We have done many similar R&D projects with Pichet Klunchun including official exhibition for private business, this is the next step to develop our previous XR and Dance projects forward with resources and experiences gathered from the past years.

Team

ิWe are a unique VR/AR studio in Thailand that works at the intersection of Fine Art and XR. Our technical team involved with Snap and Meta as AR Partner. In this project, we collaborate with Pichet Klunchun, a world-renowned choreographer.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
