Rain Dance

Project details match catalog

About

I’m making a volumetric capture of a Pueblo rain dance. Participants with EEG headsets and haptic vests dancing along will experience a change of state. A 360’ film of the tribe’s rain dance will integrate knowledge of how they bring down the rain.

Impact

Understanding Native American wisdom shifts our thinking about and reverence for nature. Rain Dance helps to embody these ideas and galvanize communities into action. Also, we’ll spread how the new science of water restores humans, plants and soil.

Progress

We’ve assembled a great team, applied for grants, connected with the Pueblo, as well as have partnerships with organizations for outreach and a gallery in Dubai with a dedicated room for a January, 2024 debut during Maxi’s show. We just need funds!

Team

I’ve filmed/photographed/exhibited water for 25 years, documented indigenous water songs, developed a mobile museum of water, and learned and shared about the new science of water, which has changed my life and many others. I’m a water solutionist.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
