About

I am building a permaculture residency in rural Montana that focuses on sustainability, wilderness survival, respite, and recreation for creatives and researchers of all disciplines.

Impact

We seek to have universal and local impact. This project will revitalize the land, build community, and provide the opportunity for cultural production and exchange.

Progress

We have self-funded the purchase of the property in addition to cleaning it and restoring it ourselves. We have created programming, both online and IRL and have tested the residency with some artist friends in 2020 and this summer in 2023.

Team

I was born and raised in rural Montana, by a mother who was home-ec teacher and father who was a rancher and farmer–An interest in self-sufficiency and stewardship of the land was instilled in me from an early age.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
