a punk circus; a decentralized sanctuary for the rebels
decentralizedai-technologyarts-mediacommunity-economyculture-identity
I am making a punk circus combining elements of punk culture, circus art forms, and Web3 technology.
Sick Sad Circus is a creative revolution empowering underrepresented artists, democratizing art distribution, and creating new revenue streams through web3. Beyond the stage, SSC is a haven for the marginalized, fostering genuine community.
I bootstrapped a successful proof of concept Sick Sad Circus event in LA during NFTLA, filling the venue & hiring underrepresented talent. Now I am planning the next event with a key local black rock band that is interested in headlining.
As a queer black woman and web3 artist with experience performing at prominent web3 events, I have a unique perspective on the intersection of art, technology, and social justice.
No displayed figures preserved for this project.
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
