Creating a comprehensive protocol for solving the problem of public goods and creating an economy of abundance
public-goodsclimate-ecologyopen-infrastructurescience-research
We're developing a consensus mechanism that can sustainably fund generalized public and common goods at scale.
The project will allow any person or group to work on creating any type of public or common goods (scientific research, OSS, investigative journalism, public infrastructure, climate solutions, etc.) and be compensated based on the impact of the work
Comprehensive development and red-teaming of the mechanisms to make the protocol work (and prevent bad actors from gaming the system) is complete. Whitepaper is released. Development of the protocol for testnet is underway
I've been trying to figure out a solution to the problems of public goods and of negative externalities for over a decade. As I learned about the blockchain I saw that the tech has a massive potential in this area and am dedicated to realizing it
No displayed figures preserved for this project.
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
