Air Diary

Project details match catalog

About

I am creating a small wearable sensor that records the air around a person throughout their day. Pollution, temperature, humidity, location, and movement become a visual diary of what their lungs experienced.

Impact

Air pollution is usually presented as a citywide number. Air Diary makes exposure personal. It could reveal how dramatically the air someone breathes changes between their bedroom, commute, workplace, school, and street.

Progress

The first prototype will follow several people through one ordinary week and transform their sensor readings into individual visual diaries.

Team

I can connect sensors, environmental data, software, and visual storytelling, allowing scientific measurements to become something people can understand without needing to read a technical report.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
