About

Blu3 Africa’s mission is to empower African women to find and build their careers in blockchain and the web3 space, so that they may achieve financial freedom, fulfilling careers and a self determined life.

Impact

We believe that Blu3 Africa can remove barriers to entry and increase financial security for women and girls in the region by on-ramping to careers in blockchain and web3. We aim to onboard and educate at least 250 African women into web3 by 2024.

Progress

We have hosted several blockchain workshops and introduced over 50 women into web3. In March, we graduated 25 African women developers from our Solidity coding classes, and partnered with local women tech groups in Kenya for live web3 workshops.

Team

As an African founder in the diaspora, I feel uniquely qualified to understand what's required on the ground. For almost two years I've contributed to a women's DAO by spearheading marketing and planning for hackathon events across the globe.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
