About
We are launching a tech initiative to apply LiDAR satellite analysis to measure carbon in restored Cerrado areas. Funding will acquire precise biomass data on 90+ native species, proving the climate impact of direct seeding.
Impact
Precise LiDAR data will scientifically prove the carbon value of direct seeding. Beyond carbon, this validates a model empowering 20+ seed-collecting families, unlocking climate finance for large-scale Cerrado conservation.
Progress
Baobá Florestal has 16+ years of experience, 800k+ trees established, and 26+ ha of research plots in Bahia. Futuro B partners to lead governance and raise the $11k needed to deploy LiDAR tech for this carbon study.
Team
Led by expert Paolo Sartorelli, Baobá pioneers direct seeding alongside Embrapa research. Futuro B manages strategic fundraising and carbon governance, combining 16+ years of field success with advanced tech science.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
