About

We are transforming waste into wealth, unlock liquidity for waste pickers in Tanzania, while documenting their challenges and needs for a brighter future. Regenerating the plastic into eco products

Impact

Proof of impact for regeneration, we will raise standard basic income for waste pickers from a mere 0.1$ per kg, reduce overall greenhouse gas emissions and provide cheaper, safer eco products to use such as eco bricks, eco tiles and eco spare parts

Progress

We have a dedicated team of 5 builders, having conducted various pilots in Tanzania. We are currently piloting with University of Dar es Salaam to offset 5 Tonnes of carbon emissions through waste pickers in the area. Small grant from Near foundation

Team

Dedicated regenerator and passionate about change in my community. We also have a strong complementary team that is comprised of sustainability and carbon expert, web3 and Blockchain as well as on the ground operations and day to day.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
