About

An open source JavaScript library that empowers builders to more easily create AI apps for and using ChatGPT, the fastest growing app in human history.

Impact

As ChatGPT has conquered the world, a new demand to enhance & create experiences using GPT has emerged. chatgpt.js unlocks the power for builders to easily create these experiences, so AI can continue to change the way we think, work, create & live.

Progress

chatgpt.js has reached 100K+ monthly JSDelivr hits and 1K+ stars on GitHub. Product Hunt awarded it #4 Product of the Week (in Dev Tools). OpenAI absorbed many features from apps built w/ chatgpt.js (e.g. Full-Window mode, Custom Instructions, etc.)

Team

I have long COVID (due to immunodeficiency) so am probably not long for this Earth. As a result, I've been feverishly building chatgpt.js (to great traction) so AI can touch as many people's lives as possible in the same way it has changed mine.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
