About

DeSciLondon is an inclusive grassroots community that fosters decentralised science through free IRL events. We provide a physical space for interdisciplinary collaboration at the intersection of science, web3, art, economics, philosophy, and beyond.

Impact

DeSci London focuses on in person events and creating physical spaces where a diverse set of expertise converge. By facilitating knowledge-sharing and fostering a sense of community, these spaces become catalysts for innovation and intellectual grow.

Progress

- Free IRL events (12 monthly meetups, a 2 day conference attended by 350+ participants and co-working spaces) - Successful Gitcoin round; the grant money will be used to fund DeSci events outside the west (currently planning events in Latin America

Team

I have a background in both science and web3. I started this community 12 months ago and we’ve made amazing progress since. I am determined to continue driving its success.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
