A Sci-Fi documentary from 2065 about a Bangladeshi-American filmmaker exploring what’s left of a failed robot uprising.
ai-technologycommunity-economyfilm-storytelling
An AI generated faux docu-essay film made in 2065 by a Bangladeshi-American filmmaker who discovers that a few surviving robots of a failed robotic revolution still retain memories from their homeland, Bangladesh, the country where they were built.
This film is my contribution to the Desi-futurism movement… a body of sci-fi work that dares to imagine speculative futures through a South Asian lens. Desi-futurism is an act resistance and an assertion of these communities’ right to flourish.
I've written the script and generated most of the key images. I'm in the process of editing, animating, and casting voice talent.
I’m a Bangladeshi-American filmmaker with a passion for diversifying sci-fi storytelling. I’ve made traditional feature films and short films and I’m constantly exploring new technology for storytelling as well.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
