A community and event series in NY, SF, and Berlin featuring live-coded audio visual works.

I am organizing a series of events which feature artists who create live audio and visual works with code, called "live-coding". The goal of the events is to produce the best-possible AV shows, foster community, and document the process.
Live-coding an emerging medium, that is an accessible entry-point to creating art with technology, allowing more people to unlock their creative potential as artists. The tools are often free and open-sourced, and can run on most low-powered laptops.
For the most part the shows are run by the efforts of the artists. Ticket sales cover costs and support small artists fees. Last year Andy and I raised 7k from RefractionDAO grants to help produce a two show series.
I am a technologist and am also a livelong musician. For the past three years I have performed ~50 livecoding shows (produced ~15 of those). I'm involved with the livecode communities around the world and want to push the medium forward.
No displayed figures preserved for this project.
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
