About

An animation in a game engine that simulates AI-managed rewilded micro- and macro-ecosystem, it will be an evolving "live cam" stream online, as well as drive the plot of an essay film about the role of AI in managing human and planetary bodies.

Impact

My project tells the story of how AI is participating in the regeneration of the Swiss alpine ecosystem and my microbiome ecosystem. It will inspire future regeneration of micro and macro ecosystems while asking how tools shape what and how we know.

Progress

I have raised initial funding, the project was selected for CPH:DOX lab development, I have begun the creation the UNREAL animated world, and created 40-minute "study" for the feature-length essay film that will launch as part of Are You For Real.

Team

I am an award-winning artist and filmmaker with 10+ years experience working on topics of interspecies relations amidst techno-ecological change. I am investigating my own rewilding and Swiss alpine rewilding with lynx from my parents' homeland.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
