About

As you know Google recently announced that they removed the free tier from their Google Photos app. There is no other open-source app that has the same capabilities and features of Google Photos like pinch and zoom, highlights,... We are making one!

Impact

We are living in a digital age. Our Photos and Videos are like our digital twine. An opensource app that is publicly available for developers to integrate it into their own backend is a small step toward a more powerful open-source applications.

Progress

We created version 1 and integrated it with both Fula network (Functionland) and Dfinity Network (Internet Computer). https://github.com/functionland/fotos

Team

Because we already started it and made a huge progress. Our GitHub is in the top 3% by number of likes to the project!

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
