AiAI SafetyExistential Risk ai-technologyarts-mediaeducationfilm-storytelling
I'm going to a meetup in France where video makers learn to explain AI risk. We film together, teach each other, and grow our audiences, so that millions of people hear why AI safety matters in easy and enjoyable language.
How AI goes depends on public attention. This funding sends me to a creator residency where we build reach together and turn it into clear and honest explanations of AI risk for non-technical audiences.
I was a fellow at plzdontkillus in Berkeley, the predecessor program: I made videos there and learned the field. I stayed on afterwards to keep connecting with that community. AIC is the next step for me.
I am an actor and a computer scientist, so I sit exactly at the intersection: I can read the technical work and then perform it a way people enjoy. Berkeley showed I work well inside a peer group of creators who lift each other.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
