About

A documentary film chronicling the unknown story of how medical marijuana was legalized due to Dennis Peron's crusade (or escapades as some would say)

Impact

It will shift opinion on the drug war and who it harms and how racially biased these laws were against minority groups. Also tells the unknown story of cannabis legalization in America

Progress

We have a work in progress cut around 90 min, it's missing score, needs some archival licensed, sound design and gfx/color

Team

We have been researching for 4 years and conducted over 200 hours of interviews. Kip, our co-director lived through the horrors of the 1990s San Francisco

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
