About

We produce documentaries with musicians as a means to onboard them onto Joko which provides tools and analytics for recording artists to engage with their global audiences and monetize these interactions for predictable recurring revenue.

Impact

Joko creates a new and sustainable revenue source for musicians in emerging economies with active entertainment markets in Africa, LATAM, the Caribbean and parts of Asia. It is a catalyst for distributing wealth more evenly using arts and culture.

Progress

We have onboarded our first few recording artists with over 6mm monthly listeners and 300k high-engaged global fans. We have completed our first smart contract which has passed successful audit. We have formed a partnership with a large label.

Team

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
