Kiwi is a protocol that lets people create their own HackerNews- & Reddit-like apps. [Artifact designed by Pierre Pauze]
decentralizedcommunity-economyopen-infrastructure
We have been building a decentralized protocol for building HackerNews & Reddit-like apps (Kiwi Protocol). We also created an app on top of the protocol (Kiwi News) that lets the community share and curate the best crypto-related links.
We'll create a space for longer, more nuanced community conversations than Discord or Twitter. Plus, our HackerNews/Reddit alternative will help more people discover new crypto- & NFT-based communities, just like they discover subreddits today.
We have a working Kiwi Protocol that Tim started building in February. We have a working Kiwi News app (with 1,200+ monthly readers) that Tim & Mac have been building since April.
We've been part of online communities since the early Internet and understand them well. We've also been blogging for years, so we understand the small creators. We have experience in building companies & designing cutting-edge NFT & crypto projects.
No displayed figures preserved for this project.
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
