About
When someone goes missing, minutes matter. LifeBeacon streams live drone video, telemetry, and real-time maps to every rescuer at once. Rescue teams search smarter and find people faster. Built by volunteer rescuers and tested in the field.
Impact
Saving human lives. U.S. rescue teams run some 50,000 search missions a year, and the average search takes 10 hours, hours a hypothermic or injured person may not have. LifeBeacon is a low-cost, AI-driven alternative that helps volunteer teams.
Progress
3 years, hundreds of build hours, dozens of field tests, real rescue missions. The system is operational: live multi-drone video streaming, telemetry, and shared search maps. Built and field-tested by active Colorado SAR teams on real missions.
Team
I've been in volunteer search and rescue since 2003. Hundreds of missions and countless trainings. I'm also a creator with a background in software and AI. I've suffered the chaos of search planning. SARops is the tool I wished I'd had.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
