Long House

About

I'm creating a simple protocol to allow curators, archivists and enthusiasts of the crypto scene to enrich with context existing cryptomedia pieces. Expanding them beyond single pieces of their own and creating inner worlds for each one.

Impact

In a few years' time, cryptomedia will be abundant on the internet and then the curious will scour the web in search of further information. LongHouse wants to be the center of this information, a large storage hub curated by those who were here now.

Progress

1) The mental models of what to build are already in place after talking to some potential users 2) V1 of the protocol was shipped, but thrown away after a pivot that occurred after talking to potential users 3) Mockups of the webapp made in figma

Team

I've been exploring crypto since mid-2022 particularly interested in cultural production and I've been obsessed with eating information for as long as I can remember, so it's a marriage of the two for me.

Funding

No displayed figures preserved for this project.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
