Heart-based biofeedback in interactive environments for guided meditation, Qi Gong, yoga, and more.
climate-ecologyscience-research
I am making a mixed-reality program that uses heart-rate variability biofeedback to dynamically shift visually-compelling, natural landscapes in real-time, staging meditations, yoga, and Qi Gong practices in relation to your inner state.
While many virtual reality environments provide solace from a chaotic world, my vision is to use this program to create a deeper tether to one's inner world, and to use science to aid in the spiritual practice as a means of transforming self.
My team developed this project over three years, refining the dynamic biofeedback interaction-system; we translated it into generative NFT art project which raised 18 ETH, and attracted the collaboration of TRIPP, the largest XR meditation company.
While leading this innovative effort, I apprentice with masters of spiritual traditions, sciences, and media arts to cultivate my ability to create states of being within and translate them into poetic, visual, auditory, and scientific experience.
No displayed figures preserved for this project.
Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
