About
One system where everybody in Kenya's waste economy meets. Collectors, aggregators, recyclers, producers. Material is weighed, photographed and logged where it changes hands. Payment fires instantly. The record is anchored on-chain, so everyone sees
Impact
Kenya recycles under ten percent of its waste and almost none of it is tracked. Collectors have no records, recyclers have no supply visibility, regulators have no data to enforce with. One verified ledger fixes all three at once, and unlocks billion
Progress
Platform live at matxchange.co.ke. Stellar integration built and tested, funded by a Stellar Instaward. First yard signed in Ongata Rongai. Tony Elumelu Foundation 2025 and Bridge for Billions. Working with Kenya's association of waste recyclers
Team
I am a Kenyan developer who built this system myself, from the scrap yard up. I designed it with the operators and collectors who use it, not for them. I know the trade, I know the people, and I have shipped every piece of it.

Season totals as displayed on the platform's public accounting — not a statement of amounts paid out. V2 = Venus sales + Venus extras. The original page also broke each season down by fund drive and showed an Available (unclaimed) balance; that level of detail survives only on the preserved snapshots.
